Learn to take and edit great pictures using your phone camera so that you can capture the beauty in what you see. Learn how to take pictures that you can later use to sketch from. A fun and relaxed morning at Sarah Loveland photography learning how you can get the best from your phone or tablet camera followed by an afternoon with artist Rebecca Noelle Purvis working on your ideas and sketching from your photographs.
Arrive at 09.30 at Sarah Loveland Photography for tea/coffee and a relaxed start to the day. Learn some phone camera basics before having a go at photographing some subjects for your artwork. Learn to edit using your phone so that you have a great picture to use in the afternoon. Sarah will print your chosen image over lunch so that you have it at the start of your afternoon session.
11.30 - 12.30 Lunch. Go for a wander, bring a packed lunch or go and treat yourself in the coffee house.
12.30 Begin your afternoon session in Rebecca's studio. Have fun learning how to use your photos to develop sketches. You will be designing and sketching in black &white and colour, to explore different compositions and colour ideas. Rebecca will supply paper and all art materials for your sketches. Afternoon coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided to keep your energy going!
